Legal basis and scope

Annual fee: The Labor Code recognizes a minimum of 15 business days of paid vacation after each year of continuous work. To acquire the annual period, at least 150 days must be computed under the terms of Article 131.

Average: The remuneration is calculated using the average of ordinary and extraordinary salaries for the last three months in agricultural or livestock enterprises, and for the last year in all other cases. The amount must be paid in advance.

Active relationship: Vacations must be enjoyed effectively and not replaced by money. The tool reviews only the most recent complete period and shows the current proportional part as a separate projection, not as an acquired balance.

Termination If the relationship ends, untaken vacation can be compensated in money, including the proportional part of the current period. For omitted full periods, the tool analyzes only the last five years and requires separate data per period.

Educational and estimation tool. The user must enter the computable days, vacation days taken, and documented salary average for each period. The tool does not decide which absences must be computed pursuant to Article 131, does not incorporate contractual benefits exceeding 15 days, nor resolves disputes regarding evidence, statute of limitations, or continuity. Nor does it calculate the calendar return date, because business days depend on the applicable work schedule, rest days, and holidays. The result does not substitute a legal, labor, or accounting review of the file.
