Labor benefits calculator in Guatemala
This calculator helps you estimate proportional labor benefits in Guatemala, including Christmas bonus (aguinaldo), Bono 14, estimated or pending vacations, pending salaries, other payments, and entered adjustments.
The result is for guidance only and does not replace a legal review. This tool does not calculate severance pay. If you need to estimate severance, use the specific labor severance calculator.
Go to severance calculatorData for the calculation
Complete the fields and then press Calculate.
Enter the dates manually in dd/mm/yyyy format. The start date must be in the past or today. The end date can be past, current, or future if you want to make a projection.
Recommendation: enter the base salary without the Q250 incentive bonus. If you entered a salary that includes it, select “Yes” to subtract it automatically.
The automatic option estimates 15 days per year in proportion to the time worked. If the person has already taken vacation or you already know the actual pending days, use manual mode.
Enter here any partial payment, advance, or payment already made for the Christmas bonus or Bonus 14 within the corresponding period.
Use this “Other pending payments” field to add pending labor amounts that are not automatically calculated. For example: pending commissions, recognized overtime, unpaid bonuses, balances from previous periods, unincluded days worked, or other agreed-upon amounts.
This field only reflects the amount entered in the estimate. The calculator does not determine whether a deduction, advance, loan, or adjustment can be legally applied; its validity must be verified with the documents and the circumstances of the case.
Use the “Show legal detail” field to decide whether you want the result to include a summarized legal explanation of the basis used for the calculation.

This is not a severance calculator
This tool estimates proportional labor benefits. It does not determine whether severance pay applies nor does it calculate severance for dismissal. If the case involves unjustified dismissal, a cause attributable to the employer, or any other scenario where severance may be discussed, use the specific calculator.
